What is Butorphanol Tartrate
Butorphanol Tartrate is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of pain associated with labor, preoperative and preanesthesia and balanced anesthesia. Butorphanol Tartrate may be used alone or with other medications.
Butorphanol Tartrate belongs to a class of drugs called Opioid Analgesics; Analgesics, Opioid Partial Agonist.
It is not known if Butorphanol Tartrate is safe and effective in children younger than 18 years of age.
